The SIP 14″ x 43″ Swivel Head Wood Lathe is ideal for those seeking a robust, adaptable lathe with heavy-duty stability. This crucial woodworking machine tools accurately shapes, turns, drills and sand workpieces to the desired specification.
For added functionality, the headstock swivels 360° with four locking positions to allow outboard turning of larger wood materials, whilst heavy-duty cast iron legs maximise stability. The lathe bed, headstock (MT1) and tailstock (MT2) are also manufactured from heavy-duty cast iron. A hollow tailstock is fitted to allow long hole boring.
Supplied with tool rest holder, 6″ faceplate, drive and tailstock centres, 2x tool rests and bowl turning rest holder.

The SIP 14″ x 43″ Swivel Head Wood Lathe is an ideal solution for those seeking a robust and adaptable lathe for woodturning. Crucial to a functioning workshop, this machine tool allows a woodturner to accurately shape, turn, drill and sand workpieces to the desired specification.
For added functionality, a 360° swivel headstock with four locking positions is fitted to allow outboard turning of larger wood materials. Heavy-duty cast iron legs are fitted to the lathe to maximise stability during this process. The lathe bed, headstock and tailstock are also manufactured to a professional finish from heavy-duty cast iron.
The headstock has an MT1 taper and tailstock an MT2 taper alongside a variable speed motor which runs between 500rpm and 2000rpm. The eassy-change speed handle has 10 settings and a digital readout speed display for greater turning control.
Supplied with tool rest holder, 6″ faceplate, drive and tailstock centres, 2x tool rests and bowl turning rest holder.
